Founder & Managing Partner

  • Brennan Moore is the Founder and Managing Partner of Nuclear Capital Partners

  • Brennan is the founder and host of the Nuclear Investing Podcast, where he interviews industry leaders and covers how to invest in the nuclear energy sector

  • Brennan has over a decade of experience in the energy sector across capital markets, M&A, and operations. He most recently served as Chief Investment Officer of Westwind Energy Holdings, an energy investment firm focused on acquiring minerals, royalties, and non-operated working interests across the Permian Basin

  • Prior to Westwind, Brennan served as VP of Finance at PRI Operating, a Blackstone-backed E&P company, where he was instrumental in securing a $240mm strategic acquisition from Occidental Petroleum during COVID and led the firm's successful $1.8bn sale to VTX Energy Partners in 2023

  • Earlier in his career, he held roles with J.P. Morgan's Energy Group and ConocoPhillips, gaining broad exposure to asset valuation, deal structuring, and institutional capital formation

  • He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University, where he played collegiate baseball, and is a CFA Charterholder

Dr. Regis Matzie

Senior Nuclear Advisor

  • Dr. Regis Matzie brings 40+ years in commercial nuclear power with leadership in advanced reactor design, fuel-cycle innovation, and global collaboration on nuclear safety and performance

  • Retired as SVP & CTO of Westinghouse (2009), directing all global R&D and advanced plant programs, including the AP1000, Pebble Bed Modular Reactor, and IRIS SMR projects

  • Authored 125+ technical papers on reactor physics, fuel management, and advanced core design (including TRISO fuel, thorium cycles, and spectral-shift operation)

  • Public Service & Advisory Roles: Executive Advisory Board for Kairos Power; Texas A&M Nuclear Engineering Advisory Council; US DOE Nuclear Energy Advisory Committee (Chair, International Subcommittee); KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (Korea); Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Science Advisory Board; Argonne National Lab Nuclear Review Committee; Atomos Nuclear & Space Board of Advisors; Board of Directors and Chair of Technical Committee for South African Pebble Bed Modular Reactor Project

  • Early career: Served five years in the US Navy’s nuclear submarine program and 25 years in the Naval Reserves, retiring with the rank of Captain

  • Tee Astorias is the Executive Assistant at Nuclear Capital Partners and the Nuclear Investing Podcast, supporting executive priorities and day-to-day business operations across the investment platform and podcast

  • Tee brings a decade of experience spanning executive support, accounting, financial operations, risk and compliance, quality assurance, and team leadership

  • Most recently, she served as an Executive Partner at Athena, where she managed end-to-end finance operations, including revenue reconciliation, cost tracking, month- and quarter-end close, accounts payable and receivable, payroll review, and affiliate commissions

  • Earlier in her career, Tee held leadership and operational roles with Insurance Australia Group, Concentrix, and the Financial Times, including overseeing risk and compliance for 87 employees and managing a team of digital content creators

  • She is a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor, and holds a B.S. in Medical Technology from Trinity University of Asia and a B.F.A. from the University of Santo Tomas
